February 8 | Writing is for Everybody: How to begin a Writing Practice with Doug Paulsen

$35.00

February 8 from 2 - 5 pm

You are a writer with something to say. In this prompt-based, timed writing segments we will write from a variety of topics. With the freedom of no good, no bad writing, we remove the editor and other efforts of control to let the pen run free across the page and discover what you really want to say (write).

We will learn how to develop writing as a β€œpractice” to help bring material for more composed writings.
The session will include pauses for centering to settle us deeper.

Doug Paulsen has studied with author and writing teacher, Natalie Goldberg (Writing Down the Bones) for over 15 years, attending weeklong, silent writing retreats with her in New Mexico.
