$30.00

March 29 from 3 - 4:30 pm

Do you have a story to tell and aren't sure how to tell it? In this workshop we will breakdown the basics of memoir, the traditions and craft elements of the genre, and move through a few exercises to get you started on harnessing your memories.

Ashley is a soon-to-be graduate from Oklahoma City University’s Red Earth MFA in Creative Writing, with a focus on memoir and creative non-fiction. She started working at the bookshop in August 2024 as a book concierge and coordinator of the Creative Writing Center workshops. When not at the bookshop or exploring Oklahoma City, Ashley works full-time at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences campus in student affairs. She has a M. Ed. in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Oklahoma.
