Halo Seraphim

Coming in October!

A one-eyed serial killer is executed for his terrible crimes and finds his lost soul dropped into the body of a kitten. Now the pet of a little girl trapped in an abusive household, the serial killer becomes an unlikely savior for a child with nowhere else to turn. “Serial Kitty” is an original graphic novella touching on black comedy and whimsical horror in the vein of Jhonen Vasquez’s “Johnny the Homicidal Maniac” and the twisted children’s book imagery of Junko Mizuno.

Drawing on real life experiences, creator Halo Seraphim explores the isolation faced by victims of family abuse in her own way. Known for her ability to fuse biting satire with popular culture, Seraphim’s work has been seen in print and online publications such as Lit Monthly Magazine, “Times Like These” webcomic, and the Official Dr. Who Blog. Her work has also been featured at conventions and art shows across the country including the Candy Coated Custom Show in New York City and Dallas’ Vinyl Thoughts Art Show, where she converted a large-scale Mario figure into a zombified Super Nintendo console.
